Our story
Circa Finance was founded in 2021 by Kim Cunningham, after more than two decades in the finance industry. Kim had seen how impersonal lending could become — clients passed between departments, treated as numbers, and left to navigate the process on their own — and she wanted to build something different: a brokerage where people deal with someone who knows them, and who does the hard work on their behalf.
Today, Circa helps individuals, families and businesses across Newcastle and beyond with the full range of lending — from first home loans and refinancing to commercial, development and asset finance. Whatever the deal, the approach is the same: understand the client, compare a wide panel of lenders, and manage every step through to settlement.

Being a small team is deliberate. It means clients get continuity and personal attention — the same familiar faces from the first conversation to the last — and advice they can trust. It's a simpler, more personal way to do finance, and it's the reason clients come back to us and recommend us to others.

Kim Cunningham
Founding Director
With more than 20 years in finance, Kim specialises in commercial property, development and investment lending — the complex deals where experience and structure matter most. Clients value her straightforward approach and her willingness to go in to bat for them, however complicated the funding. Kim holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle and a Diploma of Mortgage and Finance Broking.
Georgia Partridge
Client Manager
Georgia is often the first person you'll deal with, and she keeps every loan moving from the initial conversation through to settlement. She brings five years' experience in the industry, and clients appreciate how approachable and organised she makes the process. Georgia holds a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing and International Business, and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.
